Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve - Red, White, Blue, Yellow, Upper Tampa Bay Trails (and some off shoots). I made this into an 8.5 mile hike. There is only shade on red and white trails. The Upper Tampa Bay trail is paved and part of a 15 mile trail used a lot for biking. The other trails are pine needles and grass. The contractor, Bayshore Construction, Inc., removed the existing boardwalk and replaced it with all new framing, decking and handrail assemblies. The contractor also added lighting fixtures to the new boardwalk. Construction activities were completed in phases and coordinated with Brooker Creek Preserve staff to reduce the public’s impact.
