If the set screw is in the back, any new trim kit, including the BT2710-SS, will fit on the existing valve body. It's clear that the tub spout adapters are soldered on, there are no set screws. I've reviewed the existing posts about these adapters on the subreddit and it's clear they can be a pain to remove when soldered on.
