Just ran some dps calcs assuming 99 range with eagle eye and bowfa + salve (ei) + crystal armor is significantly better than rcb + ruby bolts + salve (ei) + void. bowfa is much better. Without crystal armour the bow is just a slightly stronger crystal bow. Worse than a blowpipe but certainly better than something like an rcb or msb.
