Tribe imprinting just means that tribe members can imprint a baby for whoever first claimed it instead of that person alone being able to do it. As far as I know anyways. 1.As Cotaks stated, if you kill the parent or tame them you can then imprint on the baby and raise it just like if you bred it yourself. It's a fairly easy way to get a tame without using narcotics and tranq arrows and traps. Kill the parent and then imprint the baby.
