NFF is my favorite, it's just has a very comprehensive and powerful suite of features. Been using EFF since LE, never found any issue and never thought to switch to the newer one (NFF). Though, I'm using other Nether's mods. NFF. I started with UFO on LE years ago and it was buggy as heck. Both allow followers to ride horses and horses can wear saddles or barding and have storage. Convenient horses allow you to give gold to your followers to buy their own horse in any town that has a horse. Immersive allows you to give ownership of a horse to a follower. Here's a bit from Nether's page on Nexus about horse mods:In NFF you create home bases and then add followers to them, and then for each follower in the base you can set where they spend the different parts of their day. IIRC in MHIYH you took the followers with you to show them where they spend those parts of the day but in NFF you can just go to those places yourself. 2.If you have NFF correctly installed with all dependent mods, USSEP - Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Path should prevent this functionality.
