As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm an AR-15 newbie. I think I want to be able to put a sling swivel on the bottom of the Ruger AR-556 hand-guard so I can use a sling. I also want to be able to mount a bi-pod, so I'm guessing the sling swivel will actually be two. One to mount the bi-pod on, and the other closer to the mag-well to attach the sling to.
