I think the more important thing rather than deciding to run day or night is adapting your playstyle to the lone wolf playstyle. Im guessing but I think I have probably played around 15 scav runs give or take, and out of those 15 I have only died 3 - 4 times which felt like a success to me.The new update has completely ruined scav runs because every time a scav chooses violence I have to be the one to shoot second which causes me to inevitably lose the majority of my fights since I cannot be the aggressor. Depending on the map, any scav seeing a PMC running with another scav is going to get the hint and fall in immediately. I've extracted with eight scavs before. The extract is only valid once , so if you are running a duo or more, make sure everyone's there, all scavs and PMCs, or your buddy is going to have to do an awkward, potentially lethal ...
